Is The NBA Fake For Penalizing Ja Morant?
Regardless if you've ever seen the movie Groundhog Day. Here's a headline you thought you'd never see more than once with Ja Morant's name in it. 'Ja Morant Gets Suspended By The NBA For Flashing Gun On Live'. If you're a movie buff, and you've seen the classic role played by Kymani Marley. Let's emphasize a word in it's honor. Sardines AGAIN?
NOW CONNECTING: JA MORANT(DALZELL, SOUTH CAROLINA, USA)
REASON:
Most people would agree that you'd have to be unwise to not learn from other people's mistakes. Better yet, your own. When Cheddar Bob became a real life character in the sports world. Plaxico Buress had no real life examples of the semi fictional character from 8 Mile. Although the actual story of Eminem's life, might've actually happened. You can see how it wouldn't ring off to gun enthusiasts. No pun intended.
When Gilbert Arenas brought guns to his NBA locker room. The movie The Fan might be just a guess of him finally watching and became spooked, be the reason. So. Any argument that Gilbert Arenas's decision was off like Ben Affleck going back to Jenny from the block. Might hold weight in a discussion about how many of us choose to listen to our lower frequency AKA Steven from Django side, explaining to our nows, that our mastered selves is our toxicity AKA our Soulja Boy side when he hears anyone saying he lost the race to the big bang theory or to Morgan Freeman when God said let there be light, and he got to the light switch third after T.K Kirkland.
Is Ja Morant a moron or a God sent sign? For years California was filled with smog until electric vehicles started becoming a thing. For years women wore bonnets in the airports, until one day Monique got bored, and decided to start pointing fingers after she had quit wearing hers. For years people hinted that politics is corruption at it's finest, until Trump became one after smoking the truth serum from that How High movie, and birthed more woke people than Red and Blue Pill.
The point is. For years society have been hypocritical about not wanting to know how the hotdog got made. But. When the writers strike of 2007, went on too long. The rating for the alleged reality TV genre, went up, and never looked back. Sure we realized later on that most reality TV including the 90's drama filled talk shows were sometimes phony, and or orchestrated. However. Most products, and services were, and are created for, or to be solutions needed by real life.
We all understand that most corporations including the NBA are marketed to all ages of people from all walks of life. We understand that in order to do so, most marketing or branding efforts requires non offensive implementations, to reach the most audience. However. A gun owner can also be politicians, God fearing people, law abiding citizens, gentle Giants, government officials, and the list goes on and on. To continue to say that a sports icon or idol, can't be a rapper, or a thug, or a wanna be gangster, is understandable. But. To say that an defensive player and an offensive player cannot be one in the same. Then the next time an interception or a steal happens for the benefit of your team. Do not cheer. And that equation also works for the offensive player, also being an all-star defensive player.
Of course Ja Morant falling for the banana in his own tailpipe twice within months of each other, will have most of us raising eyebrows, and looking sideways to figure out what's wrong with the picture. But. Can it be a sign of liberation? A wake up call to say it's time to give your parents the credits, and not Santa or the tooth fairy? Is it time to start recognizing that our public figures are relatable beyond competition or representations?
