Do we self hate when we don't think of someone that stands out from our common, must have a ceiling on their ventures outside of entertainment or their professional public figure norms?

NOW CONNECTING:

SHAWN JAY-Zee CARTER(BROOKLYN, NY, USA)

REASON:

idal once being majority black owned, was, and still is a talking point for self hate in the black community. Especially because, when it comes to support from our own, many Foundational Black Americans and other descendants of the diaspora, often develop ulcers and other stress related ailments, simply wondering why we don't get the same support as we do freely give to other communities.

On one hand. Quality is always a priority.

However. Most industries with multiple competitors, usually get their products parts manufactured in the same place. The problem with most of those industry competition is first priority on the parts used. Take for insurance the mobile phone industry. Only difference between Apple and Samsung phones, are branding, and Apple's arrangement to get first priority on the manufacturer testing of the parts, and their grading system of the items being used to help complete the final product.

Otherwise from that. Do your smartphone from any company work with perfection? If so. Do they function properly beyond the new available model upgrades? Probably not. In fact. The only time we should expect perfect performance is a promise of a cure for health purposes. That being said.

What is the problem a streaming service owned by black people, that black people already support on other streaming services?

Would the next streaming service owned by black or other minority groups, best to be accompanied by an operating system for mobile devices? Maybe it's own player like Kanye tried with the Donda album? Which admitted by Kanye himself. Away was right. They don't want you. Build your own.

The concept of the artist owning at least a piece of their work, is why newer artist make Master P type of independent moves, as did Jay-Zee, and eventually Birdman turning into an artist, and an even bigger mogul in the music owning and revenue sharing business model.

Which by the way, were not achieved without their own trials and errors.

The evolution which type businesses that black people can be owners or board members of, is now as simple as a YouTube upload. On YouTube, and now TikTok, Meta, Instagram, there are many Slumdog Millionaires so to speak, just being themselves, making money, and not realizing, the trolling comments, or thumbs up, share, subscribers, backseat viewers, actual supporters, Cash APPers, Superchargers, all are a part of a streaming service that supports black people already creating content for all types of people.

Including having the ability to potentially reach the right people seeking their services, products, or their sponsors placements. In light of that. Jay-Zee as a black man, was able to buy a company, change it's name, shared ownership with other black artists, and then was able to sell 80% of the company to a platform that was able to see the vision for themselves.

Again. Many complain about Mr Carter always building something, at least in the public's eyes, to selling it to a corporation. However. Where is the long term support for long-term expectations? Think about it. We terrify our own into not wanting to put there names on anything. Cam'ron is not just a rapper, and the first he ever expressed that publicly, he said it himself. Most of his ventures outside of music, he doesn't attach his name to, especially in the retail real estate space.

SO?

Would you support a black owned streaming service, if it came with its own operating system? If so. Joe Budden would like to ask.

ARE YOU ON SPOTIFY RIGHT NOW?
